Published in accordance with Clause 11.5 of the CIO Constitution and the Ethical Funding Policy, ensuring total operational and donor transparency to the public. 1. Funding Overview & Institutional PartnersDuring the current academic year, the Trust raised significant funds from a variety of institutional partners and individual supporters. In accordance with our Ethical Funding Policy, we proudly publish our institutional donors, all of whom have passed rigorous Know Your Donor (KYD) due diligence.

Grants DistributedFunds are distributed to registered students' unions to hold as restricted funds on behalf of supported think tanks. Grant Allocation by Think TankLeeds Policy Institute £65,000 NSPT Core Operations £25,000 Other Affiliated Think Tanks £106,500 Students Supported: This year, the Trust provided direct educational bursaries to 142 individual students across the network. 3. Training & Development ActivitiesThe Trust funded 14 academic writing workshops, 6 data analysis seminars, and 2 national networking conferences, designed to upskill student researchers and enhance their vocational prospects. 4. Emergency Continuity ReservesTo protect the operational independence of our supported think tanks, the Trust has established restricted Emergency Continuity Reserves. This year, £40,000 remains held in active reserves by affiliated students' unions. No reserves were released or clawed back during this period. 5. Grant Compliance & Ethical GovernanceA comprehensive review of all funded think tanks confirmed 100% compliance with our non-partisan research guidelines (CC9). All institutional donors reaffirmed their commitment to the Donor Code of Conduct, ensuring absolute editorial independence for our students. |
